How to apply for a licence to farm or breed animals
You need to apply for a licence if you intend to farm or breed of non-food producing animals for commercial purposes.
Application procedures
1. Submit your supporting documents.
Submit the following supporting documents via this online form:
A copy of your latest business profile from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), if it has not been submitted during the in-principal, no objection stage
Copies of any documentary evidenceon the approval from relevant agencies for the use of the premises for farming or pet breeding.
Copies of the NRIC(s), front and back, of the lessee/tenant, joint-lessee/tenant, sole-proprietor, or all the partners in the business .
Your latest Medisave contribution payment receipt, if you are self-employed.
Certificate of Completion showing that the applicant has attended compulsory training on pet welfare and animal management. The training must be conducted by course providers we recognise.

2. Apply for a GIRO arrangement with NParks.

Your licence application will be approved within three working days after completion of the following:
Our receipt of all supporting documents mentioned above
Your premises successfully passes the inspection
Your payment of the licence fee
Fees and payment
The licence costs S$100 and is valid for a year. GIRO applications take a month to process. If you do not have a GIRO arrangement yet, please make payment by AXS, PayNow or online payments.
Renewal of licence
The licence renewal notice, together with the tax invoice you will need to make payment, will be sent to you four weeks before the licence expires.
Your licence will be renewed only if payment is made before your licence expires.
