How to import, export or transship wildlife and endangered species

Importing wildlife

1. Obtain a CITES export or re-export permit from the country of export.
2. Obtain an AVS-issued CITES import permit.
3. Submit inward TradeNet declaration.
4. Apply for an AVS-issued import licence.
5. Fulfil our veterinary conditions for import.
6. Obtain a veterinary health certificate.
7. Undergo inspection upon arrival in Singapore.

Exporting or re-exporting wildlife 

1. Obtain an AVS-issued CITES export or re-export permit.
2. Obtain a CITES import permit from the country of import.
3. Submit outward TradeNet declaration.
 4. Obtain certification of species.
5. Apply for an AVS-issued export licence.
6. Obtain a veterinary health certificate.
7. Undergo inspection before leaving Singapore.
