List of Wildlife Working Groups
5 November 2025
A list of wildlife working groups that work together with AVS.
The Wildlife Management division, under the National Parks Board (NParks), works closely with various Wildlife Working Groups (WWGs) as part of our efforts to promote responsible human-wildlife encounters in our shared urban spaces with native species.
Wildlife Working Groups bring together representatives from other governmental agencies, research institutions, non-governmental organisations, and community partners. Through these partnerships, the WWGs plays a vital role in community outreach by promoting public understanding and appreciation of native wildlife and responsible human-wildlife encounters, whilst collaborating to support ongoing research efforts on wildlife ecology in Singapore.
The Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) works together with multiple Wildlife Working Groups in Singapore, including:
Civet Working Group
Long-tailed Macaque Working Group
Otter Working Group
Our Wild Neighbours
Singapore Pangolin Working Group
Raffles’ Banded Langur Working Group
Reptile Working Group
Roadkill Working Group
