Singapore Veterinary Council
About the professional regulatory body for veterinary professionals in Singapore
The Singapore Veterinary Council (SVC) has been established as a professional regulatory body for veterinary professionals under the National Parks Board (NParks) to maintain and advance professional standards of the veterinary sector.
The SVC regulates the professional conduct and practice of registration of veterinarians and sets standards and guidelines relating to the practice of veterinary medicine, in accordance with the Veterinary Practice Act 2026.
At this stage, the SVC is not accepting applications for registration, practising certificates, or complaints yet. AVS will continue to regulate veterinarians and handle all licensing and complaints matters until further notice.
Please visit the SVC website (opens in new tab) for more information.
