Open grant call for research collaboration opportunity
Overview
The Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster under National Parks Board (NParks), is inviting potential research collaborator(s) to submit proposals for grant funding under the research topic “Transforming Pet Ownership Behaviour: A Strategic Approach to Cat Licensing and Sterilisation”. The Research Collaboration Opportunity has been launched on 15 April 2026, and has closed on 12 June 2026, 06:00PM, Singapore time (UTC +08:00).
Funding support and duration
Projects may be awarded for a period 18 to 24 months, capped at $200,000 (inclusive of indirect costs).
Eligibility
All Singapore-based public research institutes (e.g., Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs)), companies, company-affiliated research laboratories or institutions and not-for-profit entities) were eligible to participate in the call.
Projects which are currently receiving other funding support will not be eligible.
