Want to contribute to building our City in Nature where animals and humans live in harmony? Join us as a volunteer today!
Volunteers are important to us because of the creativity, diversity, and passion that they bring. We strive to create meaningful experiences by involving volunteers in programmes and projects that positively impact the community and safeguard animal welfare.
As we envision building a network of active volunteers, we are committed to providing platforms for capabilities to be showcased and interests developed. These platforms will be a safe space for volunteers to try new things, connect with fellow volunteers, and play their role in shaping our society. All our volunteers will receive training and guidance for their volunteering role, either on the job or prior to the volunteering session.
To view and sign up for opportunities, register for an account on our volunteer portal, and search for opportunities under the National Parks Board (NParks).
We currently have two volunteer programmes:
AVS Outreach Educator

Join us on the ground to engage with the public at community events, roadshows, learning journeys and more!
Gain valuable experience in the field of outreach and engagement and play an active role in contributing to our mission to advocate for animals.
AVS Animal Classroom Caregiver

If you have a keen interest in companion animals and pet husbandry, join us as an Animal Classroom Caregiver!
All the pets in the Animal Classroom are rescued and help educate young students on responsible pet ownership.
Through cleaning, feeding, and socialising with the animals, you will learn about how to meet the needs and understand the behaviours of various companion animals like cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters and terrapins.
You can also discover other volunteer programmes that NParks is running here.
