How to import veterinary vaccines
Each import consignment of veterinary vaccines must be accompanied by an AVS-issued import licence. In addition:
You must have a licence to possess veterinary biologics before importing vaccines.
Veterinary vaccines must be evaluated and registered with us before they can be imported. Our list of registered vaccines is available here.
All registered vaccines which have not been imported five years after their date of registration or after the last import will be de-registered.
Complete the steps below to obtain an import licence for vaccines.
1. Register the vaccines to be imported.
You are required to submit the following items to us to register imported vaccines:
A soft copy of the registration dossier.
Registration of each vaccine costs S$210. The duration of each application’s evaluation will depend on the completeness of the information provided.
All registered vaccines which have not been imported five years after their date of registration or after the last import will be de-registered.
2. Apply for an AVS-issued import licence.
You can apply for and obtain an import licence for vaccines via GoBusiness Licensing Portal.

The documents below provide more information on import requirements:
Final labelled products (for immunisation of animals or birds for sale, transshipment, re-export, or transit).
Bulk or unlabelled products (for further manufacturing, processing, or labelling).
Seeds or samples (for laboratory tests, production, research and development, and field trials).
Inspection
Importers of all veterinary biologics except samples for diagnostic testing are required to book an inspection appointment via eservices - National Parks Board (NParks) at least 5 days before the date of arrival.
